After what was a hotly contested competition, this week saw the culmination of the EXC1TE Awards, Text 100’s global employee recognition program.
Text 100’s EXC1TE Awards celebrate and reward the outstanding performance of employees across all levels of our company.
At Text 100 we recognise the achievements and excellent work of our people across eight different categories from incororpating digitial into the way we collaborate globally with each other and with our clients, to people leadership and development. The eight categories have been designed to support our company values and business strategy which are defined by what we call the 5P’s – People, Profit, Product, Profile and Partners.
The APAC region’s winners hailed from as far afield as Mumbai in India to our very own superstar Anna Bray who won the coveted Excellence in Digital Collaboration Award. Anna won for her outstanding work on promoting global communication and collaboration through the use of digital and social media tools. Nice work Anna – we’re lucky to have you on our Sydney team!
A big shout out to the other winners from our Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai offices who achieved high quality outcomes and performance under often changing, and what can be challenging circumstances.
Awardees are nominated by their peers across the entire organisation, results are collated and ultimate winners determined by a select committee from each of the three geographic regions APAC, EMEA and North America. There is much “secret squirrel” communication surrounding the preparation for the Awards ceremony to preserve the element of surprise for the ultimate winners and of course there’s the obligatory bottle (or six) of bubbles to celebrate the stars of the day as they are announced across each of the regions via webex.
Apart from the adulation of their peers, regional winners receive cash prizes which they can keep or donate to a charity of their choice. Global award winners receive prizes towards a skills development opportunity which some have used building on their skills in other Text 100 offices.
So, as we head into the second round of EXC1TE Awards for this year, get voting and make someone’s day. Past EXC1TE Award winners have gone on to become real super stars within the business – each and every vote counts so be sure yours is one of them.
